Social Media and the Future

As of now I have three new social media accounts I'll be posting on. I hope I can keep this a regular thing, but I've never been a big social media guy. I've never used TikTok in my life, and it kind of grieves me to start now. I've always hated the app, but I would like to post some videos to show what my books and my website are about.

The other two platforms I've joined are YouTube and Instagram. I use YouTube a lot so I'm more comfortable there. Instagram is a bit of a minefield with its wonky algorithm, so who knows how that'll turn out. It's worth a shot, so I'll semi-regularly make some content to go alongside my primary job and hobbies.

I will be posting one to three times a week, depending on how long they take to make. I really don't want it to consume my life, as it would probably become synonymous with consuming my soul, making me a husk. So, if I stop posting entirely, it'll probably be because I'm just too busy with other things and I find social media to be a tad aggravating.

The more exciting stuff to talk about is what's to come. I plan on releasing my books on Apple and Google. I've been putting it off as uploading on Amazon wasn't the best experience, and it took so long to fiddle with its systems. I shall make my work multi-platform soon enough, and will also be releasing a hardcover version of my books when I can find the time to edit the cover.

Also, I will be posting a short story to my website every month. Why will I be doing this? Because I'm a crazy man who thinks adding more stuff to write is a good idea. Seriously though, I enjoy writing more than words can describe, so writing even more is already fun. I hope in the end I will have enough material to release a short story book.

Lastly, my next project is in the works, but it's in its beginning phases. I won't even be putting a release date out until I'm sure I know it'll be finished. Just know it's a big project, one that I've consistently thought about for years now, slowly adding elements. For now, things are looking very exciting.
